Tapo Rewards Program | Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: October 1st, 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Tapo Rewards Program (“Program”) offered by TP-Link Systems, Inc. By participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Program Overview

The Tapo Rewards Program allows customers to earn Tapo Points (“Points”) for qualifying purchases and actions on the official TP-Link Tapo Store at us.store.tp-link.com (the “Store”). Points may be redeemed for rewards, including discounts and select products, subject to these Terms. The Program applies only to purchases made directly on the Store and does not apply to third-party retailers.

2. Eligibility and Enrollment

a. Participation in the Program is open to all customers of the Store, including guests without an account. Points may be earned before account creation, but a valid Store account is required to redeem Points or manage rewards.

b. Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and are fully responsible for all activities conducted under their account. TP-Link is not liable for unauthorized access or misuse.

3. Earning Points

a. Points are earned for qualifying purchases and actions as published on the Store. Standard earning rates are:

  • Smart Tier: 10 Points per $1 spent
  • Pro Tier: 12 Points per $1 spent
  • Guru Tier: 15 Points per $1 spent

b. Points may also be earned for non-purchase activities including:

  • Email subscription: 300 Points
  • Social media follows: 50 Points per platform
  • Product reviews: 100 Points per review

c. Points are awarded only for completed purchases. Points will not be awarded on returned, canceled, or refunded purchases, or on purchases made using excluded discounts or promotional offers.

4. Redeeming Points

a. Points may be redeemed for reward coupons, select products, or other rewards available through the Program. Availability is subject to change.

b. Points have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

c. Coupon rewards cannot be combined with order-level discounts but may be combined with product-level discounts.

d. Points must be redeemed through a valid Store account. Points not redeemed prior to expiration (1-month after redemption) or account closure will be forfeited.

5. Points and Tier Expiration

a. Points expire 12 months from the date of last activity, including purchases, redemptions, or other eligible actions. Any activity during the 12-month period extends the expiration date by an additional 12 months from the most recent activity.

b. Tier status lasts for the current calendar year and the following calendar year. For example, if a member attains Pro status in November 2025, the status remains valid through December 2026. After that, the tier status will reset based on accumulated Points.

6. Tiers and Benefits

a. The Program has three tiers: Smart, Pro, and Guru. Eligibility and benefits are determined by Points accumulated:

  • Smart: 0–3,999 Points
  • Pro: 4,000–7,999 Points
  • Guru: 8,000+ Points

b. Entry bonuses and seasonal offers are awarded per tier as published on the Store. TP-Link reserves the right to modify tier thresholds, benefits, or bonuses at its discretion, with reasonable notice provided to members.

7. Referrals

a. Referral rewards are earned when a referred customer completes a qualifying purchase of $100 and the referrer will receive $15 off their next qualifying order.

b. Referral rewards are void if the referral results from fraudulent activity, multiple accounts, or violations of these Terms.

8. Account and Program Restrictions

a. TP-Link reserves the right to suspend, revoke, or adjust Points, rewards, or tier status in cases of fraudulent activity, misuse of Points, or violations of these Terms.

b. Rewards accounts cannot be combined or consolidated across multiple Store accounts.

9. Shipping and Taxes

a. Shipping costs may apply to reward redemptions and free product rewards. Rewards redeemed for orders under $50 are subject to standard shipping fees.

10. Modification and Termination

TP-Link reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Points earned prior to modification or termination will be honored subject to these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

TP-Link is not responsible for any losses, damages, or expenses arising from participation in the Program, including system errors, technical failures, or unauthorized account access.
